I don’t believe that vaccines cause autism. The scientific community has shown that there is no credible evidence that supports that conclusion (the original paper that stated vaccines cause autism was retracted). However, I wonder if the number of autism cases per capita is larger than the reduction in deaths due to vaccines. Cars cause deaths but we tolerate them because the benefits far outweigh the costs. Maybe we need to pack up the science and bring out the cost benefit analysis for the anti-vaccine brigade?
